N-scale Rolling Stock Kits

Time for a wish list of a different kind...

I'm considering production of a N scale craftsman type kit. (similar to the former Railyard models G41A Coil car kits)
The car would be mixed medium kit with cast urethane & etched metal parts.

I'm looking for suggestions for a prototype. What would you like to see done?

You guys know that, many many years ago, there was a resin version of the H30 floating around.

It was, well, good at the time, I suppose. I've thought I've seen pictures of Gregg's versions floating around, and they can turn out alright, but I bet a newer version would go over quite well.

As far as my own personal suggestions, I can think of no car that would be better than the PRR/PC/CR/LV X58: http://crcyc.railfan.net/crrs/box/boxx58.html

That's HO. There was an N scale? version:



It appears to have been done to 1:144 scale rather than 1:160. It was sold by And Kon. At least that was the label on the plastic bag the kit came in from Wick Brandon.

the H-30 would be nice, but i'd rather have these - built by the CNJ for CNJ and L&HR for zinc service in New Jersey.

Even as a western RR guy, I'd vote for and put on my layout, an H30. 

I wish we'd get to see more transition era kits of the type they have in HO from the resin manufacturers.  There is a lot of cool rolling stock from that era.  The main reason I model the '50s is because of the wide variety of car types and styles.

I'm on board for either the H30 or the X58 since I model both PRR (1956) and Conrail (1980).  I'd be in for 2-3 of each, probably.
