Any odd PRR 1950's era car would have a big following , especially their unique hopper cars . They would see service nation wide , so even that I model the UP I will cast my vote for the PRR hopper and would be glad to get my paws on one or more .

Since I only need two PRR cars and one will be the ESM gondola the other a boxcar, I would like something with a more broad appeal if you don't mind.

50's era 19,000 gallon tank car would be nice.

I would get 5 of those for the UP , UP Microscale decals ought to suffice . Here is one that is showing its age , and not in orig paint .

But seriously, I would get a couple of the PRR H30s. I'm pretty sure some of these (the N&W HC-1 that is) lasted into the 70s and decals for it are just around the corner.

Between 1935 and 1949 PRR built 1325 H30's and 250 H30a's in 1951 (differences in the bolster)
In 1958 N&W had 60 similar cars built.

I got drawings here and they show them in PRR, PC, and Conrail. For PRR you have to schemes, two PC schemes as well. Then add N&W and Conrail.

I'm with Ed, I would like to see an X58.  I would sign up for a dozen Conrail alone.  This car was so ubiquitous during the 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, and even the early 2000's on just about every railroad in the US.  It is the quintessential PRR/PC/CR freight car.  If your railroad interchanged with PRR/PC/CR, then these should be represented in your fleet.  They should not be ignored.  Since the PRR owned these cars outright, they lasted for 40 years in service.  As the the leases expired on other classes of cars in the Conrail roster, they returned them to the leaser in droves.  Can you say BA50a, X71, X72, X74, X75, and H56a to name a few.  Maybe some day they will be produced.  I am hoping FVM or BLMA will do them at some point.  FVM chose a pretty specific prototype when they did the SOO LINE boxcars and BLMA with the NS Top Gons, so I am hopeful.

So based on this we have these potential schemes (I guess this is irrelevant though since this would be a kit right?):

PRR 1
PRR 2
PC 1
PC 2
Conrail
N&W 1 (1934-1951 17")
N&W 2 (1951-1963 24")
N&W 3 (1963+ "hamburger") - need to confirm that some of these got this scheme
