Just ordered my first batch.  Didn't order any long-shank versions as I don't think I'll need any for my 1947 thru 1956 roster of engines and cars.

CAN'T WAIT!!!  :D

Cheerio!

Bob, all your dreams have been answered.  Can't wait to see your modeling with these things attached.

And no, I haven't used any longs to date on transition era stuff.  So you'll be good for awhile.

Just a heads up...
I thought I would try out the N-possible couplers, converting a couple of my MTL heavyweight passenger cars and a few freight cars, so last night I submitted an order for 2 e of the retro conversions and scale box versions. This morning I received this e-mail:

Hello David,

Special Note for all our USA Customers: Please be aware the de minimis exemption rules have ended for all shipments to the USA. Items purchased through the postal/courier network from any Canadian retailer will be subject to a duty rate of 30% or up to $200 per item. We have therefore suspended all order shipments to the USA until conditions change.

Best regards,

Guess I'll put my plans on hold...

There are US based retailers now, so if you're in the USA that's the way to go.

Check out the dealer page: https://www.n-possible.com/where-to-buy

Restock is in process for everyone, so they should have more stock shortly if they're not showing any at present. Everyone has placed larger restock orders too, so that should help with consistent supply.

And more dealers are looking to join the party too, so check back on the dealer page from time to time too.

Any chance we can move the order status stuff to one of the other threads and clean this one up for "journal" items only?

another need for offset shank:  mtl caboose.  I suspect other cabooses, as well.

Install the tsc coupler without the lid and hat.
It turns out you can get black confetti in the shape of d'cks...

Has anyone used these for Body mounting Passenger Equipment, or even Steam Locomotives?

Yes.

Page 1 of the “N Possible Journal” thread under the N scale discussion lists several steam locomotive installations.
https://www.therailwire.net/forum/index.php?topic=59868.0

Most of the recent N scale steam offerings already have body-mounted couplers.  Some are easier to convert than others.
