The fact that they are in the U.S. and for $10.99 per pair is actually the best news for us south of the (Canadian) border.  We have access at a known price with reasonable shipping times. 

Congratulations TurboWhiz, on solving the border problems that seem to still be confounding other manufacturers.

Yes* (sort of)...
*the URS has a little nubbin where the spring goes (reportedly to help centering?)...


where the SBX does not.. but the nubbin can be easily trimmed off making them identical....

Is that "little nubbin" really needed for the URS assembly, or can the SBX version without the nubbin be used successfully in the URS conversion box?  (Hoping it is not necessary, so that I can mix parts to get whatever shank length I need in whatever box I need as I find that I need them.)

No more travel poster in a prison cell.

I believe it was to limit the coupler swing inside the mfg box, and trimming the post increases the swing motion.   You still have the URS plate to hold the center of the spring.  BUT.. the URS plate can slide around inside the box, so I donno...

With my bulk purchase, @turbowhiz sent me all URS couplers and they were interchangeable by trimming off the nubbin.

Yes.

There are a few retro-fit boxes that are narrow enough such that gluing is not necessary to prevent rotation.  But that is the exception rather than the rule.

I've only done a few so far, but its been quite free to rotate in those boxes.
