With the current capabilities of AI, that looks like it could be AI generated "motel".

I think you are on to something.  Notice there are no shadows behind the lamp posts and other objects on the right side of the picture.

And no activity of any kind (humans or vehicles) anywhere.

I wrapped up an Ahnapee and Western boxcar. I started with a weathered MicroTrains car, swapped doors and patched it out before adding a little extra weathering. Prototype photo by Brian Buchanan for reference.

Appears to be a real place.  There are more photos on their website and it shows up on Google Maps near the Jaguars stadium in downtown Jacksonville.

Made more progress on my PRR Granville Bridge T-TRAK module. The track is not yet secured, ballasted, or weathered, nor have I yet poured the resin for the river water.

And I have been putting my HOn3 Rio Grande Southern First District through its paces this evening in preparation for tomorrow's open house:

Actually, if you look close enough there are shadows, even behind those lamp posts.

This won't mean much to most of you but these are the first engines I have had running since the deconstruction of my old Pennsylvania-Reading Seashore Lines layout in September 2025 ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oInPqnHmdq0 ).

Long way to go on the new DVX line.

Given that I have to work this weekend, I'll post some pictures of the modeling I've done over my four day. Work continued on the X42 3D print. I made some roofwalks for it, because the 3D printed ones didnt turn out, It was also lacking brake wheel details, So I scavenged some off an old Atlas boxcar in my parts bin. Made some wire steps, which are not perfect, but Im OK with them, shot some primer on it, then a coat of PRR Passenger car red. overall, I'm pretty happy with it. I thought I might have scaled it wrong, because it seemed short, until I got it coupled to a MT X29, and its dead on height and width with that car. So Im thinking its close enough. Roof detail is still not great, bit I can live with it. I got some leftover microscale PRR passenger decals, and I think I have enough pieces to be able to decal it. Again, It will not be perfect, but I'm just looking to be happy with it. Stay Tuned!!

But it is a pretty good demonstration on how much better Unitrak can look with just a little bit of paint.

This weekend is probably only going to be a JFRTM weekend for me, but ain’t nuthin wrong with that! Here we see an ATSF GP35 (which will one day become an ex-BN GP39V) coming past its train on the main, as the box plant is not being switched. It’ll shuffle the train to get the Cargill tank car against the two cars at the lumberyard before heading back towards the interchange, stopping along the way to drop the cement cars.

And here we see her at the switch, crossing Main Street. In the background we can see the fertilizer hopper the local dropped off earlier, and the Cargill tank was pulled from the transload spot along that same spur. Looks like Waste Management is here to dump the Hardware store’s dumpster. Overall, now that I’ve turn the street orientation 90 degrees, I’m super happy with the scene composition. This is why I wanted to build the buildings I had for my slice of town before committing to scenery, as having everything in 3D made it easier to figure out this was the best way to lay it out!
