There is a guy selling those on Ebay, but with the extruded ice cream machine: https://www.ebay.com/itm/176816425378

Funny thing he posted them on FB one time. I commented that if he had to change anything to make them O scale could he upload the files to the free sites. He replied with "why would I give away all my hard work". I told him I did all the hard work and gave the link with my same name. Again they are free files to do whatever with, but this guy claiming it is his work.

Crazy, and his prints are terrible.  I really appreciate you putting the design out there, all I did was scale it and print.

The New Jersey Southern MRC participated in the Strasburg MRC show in Magnolia, NJ April 12th with a small T-Trak layout.
We have added an inside curve creating an L-Shaped layout. This removes the racetrack loop feel from the layout.

I spent some time dialing in the sounds on @DeltaBravo s Fs.

I'm also in the process of using some trim film to clean up the ridiculousness that is the A units face.

I haven't seen a paint separation this bad for 30 years and I couldn't dispatch the thing from my workbench without at least trying to improve it.

After two weeks of messing around with turnout mechanisms, it was time to enjoy running some trains again.  My locomotives have been largely idle since last May so will require some cleaning and coaxing to run well again.  I cleaned the trackage for the Fort St. John Subdivision and worked on my two RS-10 locomotives in advance of running a work train to Septimus and return.  These two locomotives are running on forty year old mechanisms and are seen here departing Septimus with a train of gondolas in rail reclaim service:

This was the first train to pass through the wall after my efforts to improve he look of the portal on the Septimus side:

A random view of a Model Railroader article online this week surprised me with the news that Tangent Scale Models released the HO scale Southern Ry.’s Gantt bay window caboose.  I hadn’t even seen an announcement, but, all of a sudden, here they are!  I’ve been wanting one of these cabooses for a long time.  An Athearn Roundhouse caboose was retired immediately upon receipt of the new caboose.

Pictured here with one of my favorite engines in my entire fleet:

Now, if I can just find a way for Tangent to produce the Atlantic Coast Line M-5 caboose in HO scale, decorated in the Seaboard Coast Line (orange and the later gray Family Lines) and the Seaboard System schemes, that’d be great.

Given my limited experience with trim film, I'd think that is going to be too thick to effectively "hide"/blend in with the nose.  I'd tape it off and repaint with airbrush

Agreed, I would mask and airbrush as well.

Just some JFRTM this weekend in between a few house chores and relaxing while watching the Masters and Cup Race, here we see the Foothills RR pulling and spotting their plastic pellet customer. I’m still undetermined how many spots (2 or 3) and what they’re going to make. I’m leaning towards plastic pipes because that could also give me an excuse to load flat cars of pipe loads at the transload, but we will see.

Unfortunately my conductor on this run was more interested in getting under my feet and distracting me than throwing switches, but fortunately I was able to handle it all myself.

Continuing on............

Up to this point I’ve usually colored the Spackle before applying it to the foam to fill holes and fill the seams between the foam board. On the next page you will see that I’ve, at least for now, will start applying the Spackle un-tinted and will explain why.

Next up is a big push to get this area covered in Spackle and then painted.

To be continued…....

A link to this whole build ( HERE ) .

Several weeks ago I started scratchbuilding the DL&W Painted Post depot.  It has been very much a "three steps forward - two steps back" exercise, as I've scrapped and remade two of the four walls. At this point I have the four walls ready for primer and paint, and also the floor of the passenger waiting room / ticket agent office. The windows and doors also need another coat before permanent installation.  Still need to fabricate the operators' bay and two interior partitions. Then the most funnest part - the roof...
