I have had the best results using a soft Nylon wheel brush in a Dremel after soaking.
Laquer thinner worked on the Kato containers, didn't melt the plastic.
I have used 91% IPA, seems to work better than 99%. A ultrasonic cleaner helps as well.Jim
Careful… this was a Kato SD40-2 left in a sealed jar of 99% IPA over 24 hours. Oops.
Is this the CNW one with the bird on the side ? I thinks it's the shell. I have stripped hundreds of Kato shells, never had a problem but my CNW shell turned out the same way
