It would most certainly take more than 30 minutes for some of us.  I think I spent 15 minutes just trying to decipher that post. :D
Ha!  Okay, okay.  But really... so as not to discourage anybody... if we break it down:

1. solder those 4 corner tabs... what would that really take.. 1 minute?  2 minutes?  To put a dab of flux on  each one, and then touch it with an iron and some solder?
2. Cut out two little pieces of phosphor bronze from a sheet with some scissors, slip them in place, hit a few spots along the edges with some flux for good measure and quicker heating, and then touch with the iron and some solder.
3. Unscrew the center thingy, drop a phosphor bronze washer on there and solder to the existing brass, and then put the thingy back on.
The worst part is getting it off the layout and opening it up, and you already figured that out.   Now...finding a washer the right
size... THAT could take hours...

Yeah, I get it.  That said, a properly trained worker takes no longer to make a beautiful solder joint than what we see in those photos.  Don't even get me started on photos that are posted of somebody who has soldered motor feeds onto a decoder.

You talking about me? I had TCS use my photo of my installed one of their boards as NOT how to do the soldering. My friends thought it hilarious.
