If anyone gets a  PRR unit, would you kindly post a picture. I am interested in what the Train Phone antenna looks like. The marketing photo shows one that is a bit wiggly. I assume that was a pre-production model.

TIA,

Rob

MTL 905 facelift. I used the upper portion of the factory box, with the sides and mounting post filed flat, as a shim, then used the factory screw to affix. Height came out just right. And coupling distance is super tight.

Short shank TSC has joined the chat…

Had to file the box, but it’s a direct fit otherwise.

Yes! I found two unopened packs of brown short-shank TSC in my stash this evening, so I am ready to boogie.

Wow! I had heard the Atlas model was a bit big, but that's huge!

This does clearly show the difference in the hood width, but it also appears that the Atlas model is quite a bit taller?  Or is this just due to the photo angle?
Interesting that the walkway width seems to e the same on both models. So the overall width of Atlas is also that much wider?

Man must resist... Those CSX slugs... Wonder how long for another run. Usually I'd bitch about the price because it is just another (same quality) model, but these seem to be worth every penny. Can someone talk ScaleTrains into doing steam

I'm wondering what these look like under the shell. I'm sure they're similar to their previous releases but man, things have got to be cramped in there!

Saw and heard a UP ABB setup today on the FreeMoN layout set up at Timonium. Home run by Scale Trains. Absolutely gorgeous engines, other than that bulbous wart of a coupler on the front. They were doing a first test run while prepping to haul a UP passenger train.  Should have grabbed a photo, but I was drooling so hard I don't think the BANTRAK guys wanted me that close to the layout.

Did the high hoods not ship? STC website is still showing drawings for those.

Maybe they were just lazy about updating - they only put photos for the NC museum version.
