GN/BN/Amtrak Great Dome Lounge cars.  At least one is still around as a private car, so this could cover a lot of years.

We have the MILW Superdomes, the ATSF Budd corrugated domes, and Rapido is working on the SP's homemade dome-lounges.  How about the last of the bunch?

According to Lowell Smith is his latest Train Talk, Railsmith should be putting out 3-4 newly tooled cars in 2025. They are planning on doing it sometime, so it could be this year!

I want those N-Possible couplers to be released. Ideally with bulk pricing comparable to the True Scale couplers so that I can actually finish a bunch of rolling stock projects.
I also want the X23 kit that's been in development for a while to be released.
More railroad specific steam era freight cars. Cars in service before 1940. Why should HO get all the good stuff?

budget friendly vehicles to fill the open sided auto racks produced by Athearn and MTL

60s - 70s trucks, cars, station wagons that sort of thing

something that doesn't require a lot of painting, I know, this is a real stretch
I’m not here to argue

These:

2.  And I'll  vote for the  already seconded motion for code 40 track components that have the North American look.  I would prefer the Peco embedded double foot rail to make really robust track, but would still be ecstatic about plain code 40 rail.  I just think that embedding the rail into the ties alleviates the need for oversized "spikes" to hold the rail in place, so that the track would accommodate all wheel flange types and could also have some scale details for tie plates and spike heads.

3.  My third want is N scale couplers that work smoothly and don't uncouple inadvertently.

and a Procor 3300 cu ft pressure flow hopper.

B&O Big Six.  Or for that matter, USRA Mikes and Pacific's with high mounted headlights.

Ooh!! Modern USRA 0-6-0. Something better than the Bachmann one. Even though the Bachmann one runs well now, it still looks terrible and is not DCC friendly.

A USRA 0-6-0 updated to more modern technologies that is DCC ready.

I wouldn't give up hope. Shane knows this is a missed opportunity. The design/production snafu with the full-width chassis on the Standard that otherwise could have been easily used for a Veranda and U50 basis wasn't caught until it was too far along in tooling. Not that anything is specifically in planning that I'm aware of, just that the problem is noted at the highest level... sort of sticks in his craw a little bit.

What design/production snafu?

Single track street trackage with #4 turnouts and nine and three quarter curves.  The Kato  double tracks have problems.  The turnouts and curves are too sharp which causes climbing and derailments.

Station platforms to match track sections, both straight and curved (B-mann, are you listening/reading?  To match your E-Z track perhaps?).  Also similar freight loading platforms...........

Turnouts that do not cause locomotives and rolling stock to pick the points and frogs.

Nineteenth century wood full baggage and RPO (preferably a baggage/mail) sixty foot (fifty is acceptable)

HW sixty foot baggage mail.

HW baggage/passenger (that RR ATSF thing just does not get it)

Baldwin road switcher

FM yard goat

3D printed replacement parts for older models, such as Rivarossi smokebox fronts, steam chests, pilots that accept MT couplers (those old conversion kits are getting hard to find).

Bachmann's NE caboose in some new road numbers, and the WM's round herald and RWB schemes.  Either that or make them so you can take the GD things apart to paint.

A newly tooled AAR 70 Ton Rib Side Hopper in N Scale.

Trinity RD-2 and RDL

Scaletrains to rerun the ExactRail Autoflood II

Rapido to rerun the Autoflood III

Scale America to bring back the FVM Ortner 5 bay

Southern GP50

Someone besides Kato do a U30C

Kato produce a modern, rural Japanese station

Atlas offered at least two phases of U30C production in HO, plus U33C, C30-7, etc.

The Kato and Minitrix (technically a Phase I U30C rather than a U28C) models were good when they came out, but they aren't quite up to par with current releases from Atlas (or any other manufacturer that could possibly offer them if Atlas has no plans to do so)
