1940s Ford cab over wrecker. Kitbashed with a Rasputen Ford cab and a Showcase Miniatures chassis and wrecker body.

Doug, that’s a very nice model. I’m a sucker for truck kitbashes. I especially like the panel highlights and weathering. One suggestion, it really needs some lettering! Whose business is it?

Wow! I am on time for once!!

I actually got some modeling in this weekend! I got the paint shot on the "Go Joe."

Still some to do, I'm waiting on decals, then I'm going to put some stainless grills on the side to hide the mediocer cast details. Then decoder, and light tubes for the headlights.
I'm pretty happy with how this is turning out!!

After painting a locomotive, I felt a little braver about taking on the city buildings in Aberdeen.  First, I had to finish the structures to get them ready for paint.  For several years, these buildings have been nothing more than four walls glued together.  I built all of the doorways, and, on this first city block, I had to build up the gaps in the foundation because I didn’t use the factory sidewalk.  All of the white styrene around the bottom is new.



I got this block into primer, and then went on and finished out the two other buildings, including roofs and chimneys.  The storefront on the single story structure was no fun.

After removing the molded on small number boards, I modified a set of Kato PA number boards. Gluing them in place. I also drilled holes above them for the class lights.
