I'm pushing really hard for a November launch. More to come on that hopefully soon. But some things I'm at the mercy of, so its not a guarantee at this moment. Hopefully know more this week.
@turbowhiz - just a reminder… November is FRIDAY!   :) :)

The couplers will eventually show up. It's not like turbowhiz works for Intermountain.   :D
This is his (new) company's first product.  Obviously there seem to be some pains to go through.

I am confident that these will be out soon and that they will be the best couplers in N scale.  I know that no one wants them out more than Andrew does.

I agree.  His communications imply that he’s invested too much into these to NOT bring them to market.  He’s likely being very cautious because a misstep early on will tarnish the view of his product and company.  If everything isn’t perfect on Day 1, there will be little opportunity to restore his product’s reputation.

Let’s just hope that we don’t have to wait as long as we did for PCM/BLI’s first run of the PRR M1.  (11 years?)

At this point, I’m willing to wait.  But - @turbowhiz - please make sure it’s WORTH the wait!!

@turbowhiz we keep seeing you tease us with your coupler in various new releases, any better idea of when you might be bringing them to market?

Also are you planning on going to Amherst in two weeks?

I asked the same question on 10/5.

We have not heard from @turbowhiz since 10/4.

Hoping he and his project are still OK.

But, that is not conclusive.

He last posted the same day in the 3-D Printing Distressed Gondola thread so it hasn't been that long.

Well he has also shown up and run on various layouts at shows previously so was also wondering if he might be attending in that capacity too.

I don't want to speak for Andrew but I have been in touch with him recently and he is working through some minor issues associated with producing and packaging at scale.  He wants to be able to meet the hoped-for demand, and that takes quite a bit of legwork.  I don't have a good sense of his timeline beyond "soon".

I have been fortunate enough to try out a few of his samples and I have been very impressed.  I am now convinced that I will convert my entire fleet as soon as I can.  :)

Gary, I'm sure your endorsement of the product will bring many sales from those that read this forum. I wish Andrew well in this endeavor and hope these issues are just a minor 'growing pains' of a start up. Good luck @turbowhiz we're all rooting for you!

I've really been trying to hold off on posting anything about these couplers until Andrew is ready to ship, but I was so blown away by the test in this video that I can't resist anymore.  What's shown is a completely unedited run-by* of a 33-car train with body-mount N-Possibles being pushed up the approach to Tehachapi Loop (2.2% grade, 18" curve) with 3 engines pushing on the rear.  Note especially all the empty Rapido center-beams near the back of the train:

So not only do they look great, but they're the best performing couplers I've ever encountered.  I will go out on a limb and say this is the best development to come to N scale since the Kato loco mechanism in the 1990's.

* Pardon the mediocre video quality.
