Micro-trains is releasing Weathered Deck 3-pack for their bulkhead flat cars. A very much needed detail for the bulkhead cars.  I am sure these will go quickly!

Nothing this month, but seeing another Micro Mouse release wants me to say this.  Please return to making weathered/graffiti holiday related cars ie the Halloween cars that MTL has done for so many years prior to last year.  As a Halloween baby, I made sure to buy that car every year, even when you did the autoracks that don't run on the subdivision I model.

Nice work/idea on the weathered bulkhead decks

some nice cars all around but I'm excited for the WLE hoppers... Might need 2 or 3 of the packs.

I think we all need to get together, form a Special Purpose Acquisition Company (SWAC), and buy one of the model companies in order to get models made for periods prior to 1960.

Yep, modeling the transition era and the B&O, not much love from MTL. Can't remember the last time I bought any of their new releases. For decades they were my main pusher. Still love their products.

I'd love that too, but....
Does the plastic "faux wood" top come off of a 50' flat? If they could retool to just provide the frame, and a wood deck, that would be great- I would be inclined to buy a bunch, as they would be perfect for a project I have in mind.

But...well...the basic tooling has been "good enough" since the 1970s, so I doubt we'll see a re-tool.

Hmmm ... that B&O box looks ballpark - this might make two months in a row for me (PC last month)

Well, it's tooled as the pilot model was on display at the Amherst show in January, so it will be appearing at some point — later this year most likely.  This isn't the best pic but you get the idea.
