We have track! It’s not soldered, but it’s down! I’ve got some terminal joiners that I’ll use to trial a few ops sessions to make sure everything fits, and I’ve got some time off scheduled and with Thanksgiving we’ll start getting track set over the next couple weeks. I’ll post a more detailed write up in the engineering thread and explain my thoughts for holding the DPDT switches for the turnouts.

I’ve made good progress on my model of the Seaboard Air Line station in Aberdeen, North Carolina.  Walls are finished, including brick cladding, windows and doors are fit, and the roof is going on.

I installed Gold Medal Model sunshades on 4 of my Santa Fe locomotives this morning.  I still need to paint them steam power black and the VO-1000 and FM units still need to be weathered.  I plan on getting that done this afternoon.

Actually finished this one last week, but the US Army one was the deserved star last weekend.

This one was fun to do, not only were the decals available for the customer through Circus City, but I managed to get full DCC in it with both headlights, and get a Dz160T Dz126T in the nose.

Nice! And  you managed to squeeze in a fully functional decoder too.
But I never heard of Dz160T, however Digitrax does  make a DZ126T.

Finally got around to printing a bent jig:

The 8-1-1 refers to the NP plan number.

Yesterday was a productive day in the new layout room as we got all of the shelving uprights located and installed on the south and north walls:

I also received the etchings for the sides of my BCPM official car:

This weekend I am putting the finishing touches on my new HSC-RMC woodchip cars, including some minor paint touch-ups:

Been working on my You Tube channel and have met some great modelers. Hats off to several Spanish modelers in Mexico.

Finally completed the water tower that will reside at the CANFOR pulp and paper mill in Prince George, BC on my N-Scale BC Rail layout.  John B., of TRW did the 3D print of the tank and the rest is scratch built mainly out of styrene with some additional metal parts.  Had some issues with paint, decals and a couple of other minor things but managed to sort them all out.

After a year, I have decided to move forward with this project.  I have purchased a pair of practice shells and tenders. My end goal is to model 2829, with a square tender...below is Tony Thompson's great modeling...

I am already making progress on this project...

going to use an extra steam dome as the sand dome. My main concern is the oil bunker

Good progress was made on my Seaboard Air Line station.  It took me a week, but the complex roof is built.
