Basically sums up the average warthunder match.

Who makes the panzer?
ha, I made that exact joke posting the scene by itself out of boredom elsewhere.
Its made by Bandai as part of their B shorty GuP set. contender for the worst decals I've ever seen included with a model, 5 or 6 applications of micro sol and it still looks like the roundels are sheets of acrylic tacked to the schurzen.

WOW!!
Are those locos powered, or static models?
Those are static, but free-rolling.  The standard mechanism width with 3mm dia motors is currently too wide for scale hood width (ie GP40 or SW9) and I don't want to compromise scale appearance for a motor in there.  A GP40-2 powered train can be run if you include powered boxcars or cab units.  I'm contemplating a drive that can house a 3mm motor in a GP40.. but that's still in the R&D department.

Thanks!  In such a small scale it would be quite acceptable to have a dummy loco with a motor-equipped boxcar behind it pushing it.  I keep forgetting just how tiny these models are.

Mention is made of a 3mm motor.  I've seen 3.2mm but never 3mm.  Is that just the convention for calling out that motor size or is it actually 3mm?

Sounds like a good excuse to build a CNW GP35 - slug rebuilt from F3B or F7B - GP35 set...

Quite right-- actually the stock motor is 4mm.  Now I'm curious where you saw the 3.2mm motors?  That might have some promise given that scale hood width is about 4.5mm and I could probably get away with .5 mm walls.  I think Siemens made some that small but they were really expensive..
