The Square Pine Line

Started work on a 1' by 1' square representing a small industrial area somewhere in Northern Arizona.
More pics coming, there is now a second level in back of the industry with a bridge across the road. I
really wanted to do a square. CAN YOU SPARE A SQUARE? - that is fully detailed, practicing new scenery
techniques that I have learned while watching a bunch of videos.

Thanks Lee, could be the smallest layout ever. I want to really capture scenes that look real and
avoid anything in this practice run that looks like a WS tree armature! Like different mixes of
grass and weeds, pavement that fades off into dirt/crushed pavement with several levels of
grass type scenery behind it. I would love to emulate the Martin Welberg bushes etc. But sometimes
it has to look a like a model. GRRRRRR

I have never modeled an N scale urbanscape. This is coming together decent. I need
to get some real wall retainers, the paper wall is standing in. Culvert is going to be
a chore. The plan is for these squares to go into a new layout.

This small square has provided quite a few new techniques to apply. I have learned some things with the
different applications. The process continues.

Chuck -
The only thing I might suggest is to be conscious of your slopes.
The "mainline" in front and the elevated line at the rear in particular.
Generally, slopes are limited to know more than 45 degrees, due to gravity.
The one on the track in front is would certainly be susceptible to erosion with that culvert and drainage there.
