I checked with Ron, and the headlights and turn signals will be pad printed on the production models.  Also, the models will have either the chrome or gray grille that would be appropriate for the prototype of the specific model.

Isn't this why we don't comment on pre-production models?

Especially when they have been painted by an amateur.   :)

BTW have you tried the Tamiya panel line product for things like this?

I only recently learned that it existed, and I do intend to get some and try it.

Whatever. The comment lead to new knowledge of the pad printing which is good, and my comment was not insulting in any way, and I don't think Carter's painting skills are amateurish at all.

I think comments are ok, as long as they are not derogatory. Constructive criticism (like John's) should be welcome. After all then, why post pre-production model photos at all?

Since a lot of people purchased these large Ford pickups to haul their “toys” around, I added a trailer hitch to the crew cab.  I think the Busch boat and trailer look like they belong behind the pickup.   :D

Masterbilt Models now has photos of the decorated "pre-production" River Point Station Fords on their web site.  https://masterbiltmodels.com/index.php?route=product/category&path=65

And, still working with the second set of test shots, I decided to see if I could make a regular cab pickup by "detaching" the utility bed from the F-350 and the pickup bed from the crew cab.  Other than my lack of painting and detailing skills, it looks like this sort of kitbash will be very doable.

The next step was to see what a crew cab utility truck might look like.

Hmmm, with a little work, we can have four new truck models instead of two.   ;)

A photo showing the different trim levels that will be depicted on the tailgates has been added to the N Scale Vehicle Association's Industry News page.  http://nscalevehicles.org/news.php

I really like the XLT trim on the tailgate of the black F-250 crew cab pickup.   :D
