I wonder what the length on the Walthers bridge is. I couldn't make out the text on the card.
Alas, the card didn't say.

I'm sorry Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that.

Apparently Kato and Micro-Trains no longer exist?

Yeah, this happens all the time.

Thanks Doug. Basically, the Modutrak group decided that we did not want to attend Trainfet this year because of the demand that we volunteer man hours to help run the show. No other shows we attend have this policy and there are plenty of others to choose from. We feel after bringing our layout from out of state, taking time off work for Friday setup, two nights of hotel expense and also three days of purchasing meals that we should not need to contribute any further. We enjoy promoting the hobby to a point but we also want to enjoy it ourselves by running trains on our layout and talking to the public. We did miss being at the show, whether others missed us is up for debate. Maybe we will be back, maybe we won't. We already have 4 shows lined up for 2019 and possibly a fifth. Next up for us will be MAD CITY 2019. Hope to see some of you there !

Thanks Bill.  I hope they come to their senses.  As I said, Modutrak is one of the main attractions.  I hope they got some comments wondering why no Modutrak.

Did anybody ask the Fox Valley folks about making wheelsets again?  Or is that a really sore subject with them?

They posted on Facebook the other day that they had samples of N&Z wheels at the show, presumably from the new supplier, and they would "hopefully get them rolling again very soon".
