This is the former MDC tooling.

The SPFE schemes were done back in the MDC days, although I wonder of they were as accurate.

Amazing, considering if you do a google search for the cars, it show that its been done wrong in HO and O as well, and even in virtual game format. Sometimes you have to wonder why so many people swing and miss at things and it takes so little to research anymore to get things correct.

I'm not sure on the date but I believe about 1986-89. They were sitting on a siding at Leeds Me. just off Blue Rock Rd. and I believe they were scrapped shortly after.

Funny, the MEC owned a whopping two of these cars and they have been done by Atlas, Red Caboose and Athearn. Now again by Athearn. Sorry for the poor photo. The Atlas car isn't even close as a 50 footer, but they did it 35+ years ago. The harvest yellow is wrong on all of them.
