Did some revamping on the Bealville ranch - to refresh your memory, here's a shot showing a special train passing:

And here's the updated version, first a glam shot then an overview:

Basically what I did was move the barn toward the tracks to give more space for the corral - which has a new fence and lighting.

As I work my way around the Ophir Loop north toward Ridgway the next order of business was to install Bridge 45A:

...which is tall.

Meanwhile Rico-bound Goose #5 trundles toward Rico...

...

Never mind the glacier blue foreground, the unfinished/placeholder tunnel 17 portal, and the completely out-of-place backdrop photo.   :P  Just having a little fun trying to visualize things.

At least the freight cars and the track need no improvements.

I, for one, enjoy the good doctor's bold experiment with black lighting.

Would someone please pass the bong?  8)

Went full South Park on Tom's head (or at least 90%  :P).

Is it any wonder I can't get any modeling done...

Apart from celebrating 3 years living in New Zealand, I painted the backdrop a basic sky blue, installed some skirting along the front and attempted to weather the ties using craft paints.  I used various shades of brown and grey and the effect seems OK although it is hard to get a truly random effect without painting every tie individually which I am not sure I am up for.

A little progress report.

I pretty much have the mechanics worked out for the Lark club -- A little more tweaking ---

Thanks,
Wolf
