Mighty thin catalog of new announcements. Haven't ever seen one that small. Could this be a sign of the times?

I saw the HO streamlined K4s and wondered if we would have another surprise offering in the SPF area.  But it looks like no.

It is interesting they have switched to the TCS WOW decoder for the N-Scale Light Mountain.  They can't do that with the diesel locos, the WOW is too big for N Scale (I'm pretty sure).

Never mind.  The Bachmann flyer says Soundtraxx Econami.  Model Railroader put TCS WOW in their reporting.  They were wrong.

surprised that they are re-issuing the Light Mountain in N instead of the Heavy Mountain.  The Light Mountain always had pulling problems with the plastic engine shell which the heavy with the metal shell did not.

There was a second run of the light mountain that pulled much better.  This is probably an update to that.

   They pull much better if you shim the TT driver with a piece of Scotch tape .

When they released their current passenger cars I was shocked at the $50 price tag considering there was no separately applied details, or molded on details for that matter. I swear they see other manufacturers charge these prices and think they can too even though the detail level between Bachmann and let's say Rapido are on opposite sides of the spectrum.
