When I wrote prolific, I mean that it would cost thousands of dollars to buy his IP, even if he was wiling to sell it.  I would estimate that he spent 2-3k hours to design all of that.

Still it, seems like a waste to hide all that intellectual property away. I assume he did all that as a hobby, or a failed business?

He had them all on Shapeways and stopped like me.  For all I know he may still be selling them in the new EU version of SW.
