Andrew, Tell me how you did those stripes.  I plan on making one of those SAL cars too one day.

“That car is way too new to be paired along side those baggage cars!”
Josh Surkosky

Here's a Clerihew about Ed. K.

Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
But mention his law
and you've pulled your last straw!

Alternate version:
Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
He asks excitedly "Did you say Ménage à Trois?"
No, I said "Ed's Law."

@Dave V can you please take a picture of it on your hand outside? Thanks in advance.

Is that a pipe running alongside the stairway tiers? (on the prototype) Excellent model, tho.

Not nearly as impressive as some of the modeling this week, but here is my feeble contribution.

Line side details are often forgotten, particularly electrical relay boxes. I recently found a good deal on these Monopoly Hotels.  While they scale out small, with a little work, they can make a good stand in for signal boxes.

I ground off the "chimney" and painted it with Testors Aluminum

I call foul! Every kid who has played Monopoly knows you aren't allowed to put hotels on the railroads....

Seriously  - clever re-use of unusual material!

I'm sorry Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that.

Neat!  Didn't know those existed.  I'll have to pick some up.  And here I was about to complement you on your freehand decal work.   :D

You also need to build evenly so there should be at least 4, but possibly 8 houses next to that.

Not exactly modeling per se, but I discovered Esther's Hobby Shop in Pittsburgh this weekend.  Significant damage to the credit card, which is still smoldering...
