This past weekend I worked on adding LEDs to my kit-bashed Victorian duplex (made using IHC Painted Ladies kits)....It's not finished yet and I might add some interior detail to the top floor room.
I should try and touch up the white trim painting around the attic window, fix the light leaks around the left side top bay window, add chimneys, add figures on the front steps, add gutters, etc.....
Any other comments are always welcome

Very nice kitbash and lighting!  I love the way shadows are cast by the porch lights.

Beautiful work -- it seems like I might be able to use the same kits for my "mansion" in the heart of town. However .. the 2nd floor side windows don't line up with the front wall ones. But you can probably disguise that by putting thick trees alongside the house to screen them from view.
That was a big flaw of these kits -- every wall had windows at different heights.

@160pennsy - That's a really creative bash there Paul.
The only thing that would stick out to me as unlikely are the twin stairs.  This may be a result of the way the kit pieces had to be utilized in order to conceal cuts/splices but I would expect it would be more common or more importantly less expensive to utilize a shared stairway to a landing at the top.
Good job.

This may be true but, to me, the stairway looks awesome the way it is. The center banister adds complexity, interest and grandness to the model and it doesn't seem that far-fetched to me...especially since the stairs do tie together again at the bottom. I would personally hate to see it go!

Hmm, I haven't noticed that until you pointed it out.  The 3rd floor windows appear to be correctly modeled - just the 2nd floor is off.

I hadn't noticed either until it was mentioned. That said, it doesn't strike me as being so off. Tall ceilings were common in that era and perhaps they wanted higher windows to accent the grandiouseness in these (entry-area/first-seen) rooms. Maybe they also wanted room for an ornate system of cabinets and shelving beneath these windows too, plus room for, say, kitchen counters.

It would put the tops of the windows right at the ceiling line if you assume the normal distance from bottom of window to floor on the 3rd level.  :)

True, but it still strikes me as possible (or, maybe I should say it doesn't strike me as being impossible ;))....especially since this comes from the "balloon" (pre-platform) construction era, which I believe may have offered more latitude with stuff like this...although I'm no expert on the subject at all. That said, I bet one could find a real-world example of windows set like this. Note that the top of the sub-level windows are also set at or near ceiling height.

This may provide at least a little encouragement...

But even more encouraging is the fact that these homes were usually part of blocks-long groups of similar houses. So, make it part of a street with the corner building having better-aligned windows.

This is true, but separate steps aren't all that rare.
