Minitrix FM switcher question

I wouldn't think it would be possible to use an SW1200 drive, assuming you mean the LL/Walthers SW1200. I believe it's too wide and there's just no way I've found to mill that drive any narrower.

I know a fellow that if I'm not mistaken just used the motor, flywheels, worms and trucks from a LL SW-1200 and adapted them to the FM Chassis.
I seem to remember an article on the internet that described this but I haven't looked for it.
I'll ask him what it is exactly that he did.
