Intermountain Woodchip Gons - Need More Reservations

2+ years ago I reserved some of these woodchip cars. I've always thought the Oregon Duck and Oregon State Beavers woodchip cars were neat. The D.A.R.E one too. I believe they are still roaming the system. I was surprised to see this note from IM "Save These Models".
This is the first time I've been in the situation that has been the topic of many thread...possible cancellation of a desired model. Hopefully these get made but we'll see.

Of the three vendors I use for pre-orders non have these woodchip cars in their intermountain listings.  that could be a big reason they are doing so poorly but also what has previously has been said.  I want the plywood side SP cars!

These are value line cars (former LBF/Huberts tooling). Would be nice to see the older versions too some day.

If I was a vendor I'd probably stop taking reservations for products more than a year after they were announced too...let alone two. 

I know I reserved mine with FRTS back in the day....

At least one is a RW poster and the others are well regarded and have been around forever.  It is probably like someone mentioned vendors get tired of having preorders up forever and ever with no product delivered.

It seems like this just came out of left field too.  They made no mention of these cars when I chatted with them at the NSE convention just a few weeks ago.

I believe LBF did the smooth-side and Deluxe did both a shallow and deep rib-side version. Actually, maybe Deluxe did a smooth-side too.

I believe LBF did the smooth-side and Deluxe did both a shallow and deep rib-side version. Actually, maybe Deluxe did a smooth-side too.

Isn't Deluxe out of the picture now though? Didn't they make a going out of business at the last big show?

I did not even know Intermountain was offering these. I might get 2 or 3, but what I really need more is the SP shallow rib woodchip hoppers from Deluxe. I could use another 15 or so of those.

I've been pre-ordering with Wig-Wag for at least 12 years and they have delivered 100% of the time.

Four orders off of Wig-Wag, four headaches of emails months later looking for my order. The only time I got what I wanted was when I lived in Santa Fe and drove to ABQ to pick it out myself. Even then it was spotty when the store was open.
