Yeah I ended up picking up one of his loads and getting contact info from him to get some pointers on load building. He said he is getting out of the load business and this will probably be his last year doing it.

I don't think that this has been mentioned, but N Scale Kits is currently working on PRR F22 and F23 "gun" flats.  Now I have to find N scale 14" guns.

Peter and I discussed gun loads for the F22/F23 flatcars.
He doesn't plan on making any, but I do.
Production samples of the guns will be ready by the Bedford N-Scale Weekend in Altoona. No FFL required

That may work, but a 16" 1/144 scale gun is a 17.7" gun in N scale.  There may be another manufacturer that will be doing the guns in N scale.

Wrong coast for that. The PRR's F22 and F23 flat cars spent their wartime service primarily bringing finished gun barrels from places like Bethlehem Steel to places like New York Shipbuilding Corporation (in Camden, NJ) and the Philadelphia Navy Yard.

There was a Bethlehem Steel in Johnstown. I wonder if they made anything that would go on an F22.

I am so sorry I missed out on meeting you.  The only events I was really able to attend were those on Wednesday.  I woke up Thursday morning not feeling well, and it got even worse by Friday and Saturday.

Not being able to set up the NSVA tables for the show was also a bummer.
