Soo line ran a Sault Ste Marie to Schiller Park time freight 911/912 (with a Gladstone to Minneapolis connection 909/910) from at least the 1930's to the WC split.  Due to the CP connection both trains were heavy with New England traffic, mostly newsprint but I'm using it as a justification that these cars could have wound up out west.  :D Would be happy to find photographic evidence tho...

Thanks Ryan, I'm convinced  :D

I would like to think a photo of a low side gondola would stand out from one of my books, honestly can't remember seeing one.

Focusing on WWII reenacting projects nearly made me miss this.

Sent in my reservation for one. It'll give some much needed variety to my rolling stock fleet.

Final tally is 66 reservations, the majority of which came from Railwire members. The total run will be 80 kits. The only thing we are waiting on is the decals. The Microscale schedule is backlogged, and we are schedule to receive our order mid-August. The kits will be released a day or two after they arrive.

I worked for the WC and remember these cars in the yard at North Fond Du Lac.

This is next, hopefully.  Still some issues with the frame to work out.  Tank design is done.
