Hopefully the metal wheels are better than the war emergency boxcars...

Does anybody know of any e-store that has them? MBK &BLW is out of them all ready. :(

Yea, I'm bummed too. The colorful and unique "circus" cars are still available, but the everyday workhorse BLACK cars which constituted close to 95% of the tank car fleet are all gone. They should sell the UTLX cars in six-packs! Same with Bachmann and MT; there are many many "cute" colorful cars, and that's okay (unless one runs one of each together ) but just give us the typical everyday boring BLACK schemes as well, in multiples please.

Gonna have to start setting aside some dough to try and get some of those UTLX ones. Just what I need for WWII oil trains.

Figure UPS or FedEx ground is going to take at least 3 days from Colorado to Maryland plus stocking time.  Odds are Wednesday sometime or possibly Thursday.

Click on the item and put your email on the in stock notification list.  I did with mine.

The shipment just left Colorado on Thursday, probably via FedEx ground. Takes a week to get to Maryland, and usually another week before MBK posts product to the website. Give it a few more days, they will be there and it is a large enough quantity of each UTLX road number to not have to scramble to buy one.

Signing up for the email notification is the best way not to miss them.

IM 8k tanks

IM recently released new 8k tank cars. I was under the impression that this tooling was damaged beyond repair years ago. Is this new tooling? Did they repair the old tooling?

Am l just imagining things?
Blood like rain fallin' down
 Drum on grave and ground

Part vampire, part warrior,
 Carnivore and voyeur
 Stare at the transmittal.
 Sing to the death rattle.

The universe is hostile
 So impersonal
 Devour to survive
So it is, so it's always been ...
