Will the BLMA detail parts ever come back?

Hey folks, I was wondering if anyone knows if the BMLA line of detail parts will be available ever again now that Atlas has bought them,  the parts are getting scarce!

At first I was excited by Atlas purchasing BLMA, but now I'm not so sure, It's been a while and they don't seem to be working on doing anything with the detail parts... :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :RUEffinKiddingMe:

You know they do have some parts now on others listed but on backorder.

Saw something I needed that was surprisingly available.  Tried to order.

Well, that was fun.  Wouldn't let me log in, wouldn't let me register, so maybe I don't want those parts anyway...

And the only ship method us UPS at a ghastly price.

Let's see what CS says...

If you have a LHS, I'd approach them and see if they can add what you want to their order.

Call Atlas, it's what I do when I need something from them. Plus, you can let them know that you were having problems logging into the website to place an order.

I believe the detail parts were on the full site in the parts depot, under all scales products, to the left side of the screen listed under BLMA btw.

If you want to order ATLAS parts call the parts department on your phone and talk to a real person who is usually very helpful.  :D

Then why offer the order option online?  Seems to me, if you have a website and offer an order option, it should work, or you're just jerking customers around.  Not everyone has the option of calling Jersey during business hours.

I seem to recall having a login issue once but the resolved it in a reasonable amount of time and it didn't come back.

And the reason for a web store is so that us West Coasters can order parts when everyone's asleep in NJ. :D

When Atlas went to the new store, the login got messed up. One email and it was cleared up.

Jim,

I had the same issue (as others said I think it was new web store they launched) but I recall having set up a new login after that which did not work. I then set up another login account and it's worked nicely ever since.

I have a small order coming in the next day or two. I'll check how they sent it but I seem to recall most in the past coming USPS which was a lot cheaper than UPS.

Follow up:

CS responded this morning.  Said he sent me the password and tidied up the account.

I did not receive the PW but was able to set up a new account with a different email addy.

And Atlas' shopping cart doesn't like Chrome.

After some futility there, switched to Firefox and was able to successfully complete the transaction.

And, under Firefox, a USPS Priority option showed up for half the cost of Brown.

I have my own feelings but won't trumpet them.  I found what I wanted and was able to complete the transaction.  'Nuf Said.

We just got one of the HO parts back in stock, and I expect to have two more available within the next week.  I think by the end of February there will be 10 or more additional parts back in stock.
