Chris, that's just phenomenal! I love the way you tie it all together, just beautiful work! I'm always so impressed...
If I can make a suggestion, on the right hand side of the city scene, where the train comes out of the black hole under the overpass, a small light source, perhaps an LED inside the curve, would go a long way toward softening that transition...
Anyway, thanks for posting the video, it's a joy to watch.

You mean the whole corner is dark, or are you talking about under the bridges?

I haven't touched my N scale layout since April. Today I went down and cleaned off the eastbound main and ran a train. Yippy!

Paint those drawbars!  :D

Maybe I'll try those new couplers all the kids are talking about.

No, just under the bridge. I just thought there should be a bit of daylight on the far side is all.
No criticism meant...
I have - similar condition where the track is going though the backdrop (even without a bridge to disguise it) and a little LED backlighting helps to make the transition....

Thanks guys.

It is a little dark under the bridge. The back drop is T shaped and on the city side 3 tracks go in, but one goes behind the back drop to staging.

I have a flat building along that track to look like something is over there. I can try a light, but it might call attention to the hidden track. I'll try and see what it looks like.

Chris, maybe just a teensy bit of light; I probably have too much in my (unfinished) scenario...

The problem with the backlighting is the need for frontal lighting to balance the two sides out.
Failing to prepare is preparing to fail.

I think the video makes it look dark.
In person:

Lit from the back staging track:

I still might tuck an LED up on the inside of the curve.
