Are the sound equipped ones coming with these shipments?

I think all 3 versions are coming together.  Sounds like 5-6 schemes per month/2 months to spread the wealth out a little bit.

Ed's trains gets his product directly from IMRC. I have dealt with him when I picked up the Milwaukee Road F-7's.

A person could use Ed's or you could use you favorite online retailer ( FEATHER RIVER TRAINS).  The dude that runs  FEATHER RIVER TRAINS... is a real good guy, greatest, most awesomest, most fantastic customer service. Did I mention that FEATHER RIVER TRAINS is a good place to shop??

What blows about the current situation,, is being unemployed,,, it is not looking to good to acquire the " deuce".

Actually, from what I understand, all dealers handling Intermountain products get them direct from IMRC.  The IMRC sales people are usually in contact and before a container arrives from the factory, they check with each dealer to confirm the orders.  I've always heard there was someone with an Ebay store that was based in Longmont, so if this is the guy, he probably was waiting on their doorstep for his shipment.

Their inspection people are checking each unit before shipping.  That's one reason they why everything isn't out the door immediately.

This information is all second hand, but should be reasonably correct.

Are those eBay pics of the n scale models? Because, if they are, I am very happy with the trucks found under the NS and CSX ones.

Good bet at least on the eBay listing is they are HO stock photo's

There all HO in the photos unless you go to the intermountain site and click the link for the N scale test shot photos. The give away is the lift rings they're to fine for N.

Here is a listing from IM website.  The ATSF and BN units do not say "HO model shown", so it looks like those are actual N scale shots.

PS:  After looking at other roads, just because it doesn't say HO model shown, doesn't mean you're seeing an N scale model.  As unittrain pointed out, the dead giveaway is the lift rings.

Couplers and visible brass contact strips are another dead give away, even in lower resolution photos on your mobile browser.

Only the ATSF and BN photos are N, indeed.

Important to note that the ditch lights only come on the units painted for the appropriate post 2000 era.  If I am going to drop $200+ on a loco just to get pre-installed sound and lights, I want one with the ditch lights, and will choose road names as appropriate.  (My new switching layout could be served in any number of eras and roads) 

Thinking current year back maybe ten years, as I have seen SD-40-2 in switching service lately.  For that matter, I have seen SD70M in switching service lately.....they are over 20 years old now.....

While I don't need any locos, I know I want one, and will probably succumb. I hope they are home runs, too.
