The truck height, space above the truck, and wheel size looks "off" when compared to the HO model, the Kato SD 40-2, and the prototype.

I'd say, "Better hurry!", 'cuz in watching inventory since @Mark5 told us they were in stock, they are flying out the door. A few combinations of road name and/or sound-equipped seem to have been hit hard, and are depleted already. Hopefully at least one was somebody here interested in sharing.

I thought these were coming delivered in three versions (DC, DCC, DCC w/Sound)?  I'm only seeing the DC and DCC w/Sound versions at MBK.  Am I missing something?

Yeah, I noticed that they look a little like a parallelogram, not quite square or rectangle.

I don't see a lot to hate.

The horns are a little meh, but those are easy fixes.

I'm maintaining my cautious optimism.

I'm optimistic too.  The rest looks great- I might pick up one of the GATX for variety.  Surely one still runs in 2017

I'm not sure what we're seeing regarding the cab windows, but the sunshades, once installed, will help disguise any irregularity.  Like others, I remain cautiously optimistic.  The big question is: "How do they run?"

I hate to say, I VERY much doubt it is the camera. Perhaps a good fade coat will help.

I will see them up close soon - maybe today. One concern I have is the couplers - they seem to stick out even more than the Kato versions.
