ExactRail metal wheels (33" and 36") 12 and 100 packs

Just got an email about this. Are these the same wheels that come on ER cars like the big ARMN reefers?
I remember seeing the announcement for HO scale wheels and they looked awesome.
Good to have another player in the metal wheel market for bulk 100 packs.

I'm curious about comparison to FVM - tread width (vs. the "narrow" style) and flange depth. I'm happy with FVM, not looking to change, and have plenty of backstock to get through shortages. But like you say, nice to have another prospective supplier known for their quality.

Haven't these been around since like 2012?

Not that I know of, but frankly I haven't been looking. All the hoopla back then was about the HO wheels, and at the time they were noncommittal about N. :shoulder-shrug:

Now how about the new N scale freight car I was told would be announced this year?  :P

Wheel sets look good, but it would be nice to know what they fit.  :?

The box is confusing.  The lid says 36" wheels but the side says 33" wheels...

I just hope these aren't magnetic like the old ones were.
I don't use magnetic uncoupling but it sure was annoying for cars to be drawn towards track center magnets.

So one wheel is 33" and the other is 36"?

Good eye. I'm guessing they didn't have the 36" wheel box available and photoshopped it.

.540" axles will fit MTL, MDC, and Athearn.

Photoshopped? I don't know . . . Since the part number (on the top and the side) is correct for the 36" wheels, I think they have misprinted boxes (where the side will show 33"). Or maybe they caught the mistake and fixed it for the production run.,
