I won't deny, that sidekick looks to save the fingers.  I would pay $5 for that if I came across it in a store.

@Cory Rothlisberger Will definitely be getting these, as long as they make the "N&W" 24" high (scale inches lol)

Was waiting for BLMA to do this, and Atlas comes through!

Well my enthusiasm is curbed as the MNS artwork isn't very good, certainly not what I'd expect from Atlas.   Hopefully it was a rush job for the catalog.  If not, hopefully it's something that can be corrected.

'Bout time on the rail joiner tool! But, alas, I can't make much use of it these days. I seem to have settled on a reasonable technique for using half-joiners, and they aren't nearly as obvious. More work, definitely, but I like the finished look.

I guess another advantage of half-joiners is they only go up half your fingernail. :scared:

I think the 10/42 new date might support your theory.

It actually says 62.  The location of that lettering is one of the many issues however.

Finally, a Rail Joiner sidekick.

Actually, after doing a bunch of track laying, I'd happily spend $5 to save my finger tips.

Send an email and ask.  At this point, it's not too late to correct if it needs correcting.  But keep in mind that Atlas does work from photographic documentation to render artwork.

Also keep in mind that these renderings were done in time for the six-month catalog that was released a couple of months ago, so it's quite possible that this was "stand-in" artwork.  But you should ask, and not assume that it is being produced incorrectly.

I had put together I nice response and then realized I don't need to do anything, Atlas just needs to look at the Tangent car.

How much would Tangent charge for the artwork?  Where's Craig at?  :P

This is the only car I "need" from Atlas this year as it comes right off my train list though Waterloo.  Please get it right Atlas.  :)

I notice the artwork shows the coupler pin extending above the coupler, as on 1015s and their clones, and unlike the Accumates.
