Boy that's tough to choose!

Both the Inekon and the Siemens cars are  very very closely related to what are used here in Portland today.

But....PCC cars are my favorites!

To be honest I'd by any of them.

I had to vote for the PCC cars.The other ones are cool but this modern modeler still likes the PCC cars.

PCC for me.  Even though they wouldn't be 100% correct, I'd buy one decorated for the D.C. Transit.

They look funny cruising the city streets without an overhead wire, don't they?!

Yeah they did, but it is a great Ed's Law situation if you want a trolley and street running without the wires.

How did they make them go with no wires?

I know how it can be done today (Lithium-Ion batteries, or lots of capacitors, or even a flywheel), but in PCC days those technologies didn't exist.

I rode many PCCs up in Boston between 1974 and 1976... simply can't go with anything else.  Man did those wheels squeal in the curves while underground.,

DC mandated early no overhead wires so everything, even trolley wires, had to go underground.  It was a beautiful decision, nothing like looking up in a city and seeing the sky with no obstacles.

Same here. I grew up along the B Line riding PCCs into Government Center. It was a shock when LRVs started showing up.
