Weekend Update 8/7/16

Working on a model of Nittany & Bald Eagle 1601.  Slowly getting all the parts on it.  The BLMA EMD cut levers are a real pain to work with.  I broke down this morning and pulled out the GE cut levers and started using the mounts for those.  Hoping to get enough done to put a coat of blue paint on this weekend.

Finally finished my 3rd SP SW1500 (#2469) kitbashed from MP15DC shell parts. Unit rides on a modified Con-Cor/Kato SW1500 chassis and has a Zimo MX621 decoder installed. Grab irons, wipers, uncoupling levers and MU hoses are from BLMA. Truck sideframes and side handrails are taken from an MT SW1500 shell. Gyralight castings from Miniatures By Eric and see-thru grills made from Eduard Mesh. Pollyscale paint and Microscale decals.

Agreed. Those locos look incredible!

Ron who is printing your decals? Your art work looks so precessional. I had some decals made for The Rocky Mountaineer passenger train but the person used an Alps printer and I wasn't pleased with the results. Is like to get some really high quality prints done.

Got on a decoder install tear today.  I dropped one into an Atlas Classic GP30, then dug into some work I'm doing for @Blazeman .  TCS CN-GP in the Reading, and Digitrax DZ126's in the Pennsy units.
