Hi
After a second attempt at painting, I've finished my son's MNNR RS-27 in HO scale.  I will get back to my N Scale projects next,  I much prefer working in N, though I like the level of detail in the basic HO scale model.  Had to make a lot of small changes to this as it was originally a CR version.

The last photo is an N-Scale version that will become an MLW lease unit as used on BCR in the '70s.
Cheers
Steve

Continuing with the scratch of the Caliente, CA post office:

Some of the details; looking better:

And yes, it's lit:

Another view:

Almost time to put it on the layout!  Next week.

WOW!! That looks fantastic! If you ever wanted to build another one in exchange for large sums of money, I'd be very interested in arranging for that.

Incidentally, no updates on my Tehachapi layout for awhile. I decided to build a Boeing 747-400 simulator in the house so I've been busy with that instead. :ashat:

Found a great unidentified weed that mimics small branches on tree armatures. This is
like Super Tree armatures when finished. More in scenery techniques.

Bring the N Scale one with you on your next trip to Vancouver and you can run it on the Dawson Sub.   :)
