Etched kit for the Walthers PD5125

After years of sitting on my as, I reached out to a few on here and may be a few steps closer to seeing an etched metal upgrade kit for the Walthers PD5125. This will include the following:
Roofwalk with mounting tabs
End cages with crossover platform and holes for grab irons
Brake wheel and mount
Air tank bracket
Under carriage discharge and return line brackets
Replacement hatches

Would anyone else be interested in this kit?

Daniel, this is probably gonna sound dumb ,but what exactly is a Walthers PD5125.I assume we are talking about a covered hopper?

Had two of these cars with damaged ends.  Rebuilt the first with styrene and gold medal ladder stock staggered splice a GMM roof walk with the proper tread pattern.  For the second car just used the GGM CS Cover Hopper set staggered splice on the roof walk.   The ends and the walk way pattern aren't quite right but at a foot or more it looks great.

In the mid 90's walthers produced a 5 bay pressure differential hopper based on the NA/Trinity/Thrall PD5125:

The basic dimensions are good but there are problems with the model...
Plastic walkways are not see-through.
End cages are horribly bulbous.
Air brake detail is lacking.
They skipped much of the discharge line detail.

The resulting car looked like it was made in the early 70's as a result. This kit will address the shortcomings of the model and bring it up to par with the Atlas Pressureaid and BLMA PD5660, which would frequently be seen with.

These three cars largely took over the Airslide market in the 1990's. If you model anything that uses starch, flour, sugar, clays, talc, or other dusty materials, you would see these cars.

Well, I don't have any of these cars but if your kit was something I could afford I might just be tempted to find some.

I did some research on these years ago and took another look when new models came out. There are too many differences to be able to use parts from other freight cars. It has to be a new kit designed specifically for this car.

I need about 6 of these.  I was hoping that BLMA or Trainworx was going to release these.

It would have been nice to cut down on the number of parts you'd need to design from ground zero, but the upside is that one kit would cover everything.

Should be $10-15 per car. Right now its on the lower end, but I do not have a concrete quote yet. The larger the order, the lower the price for everyone.

My fleet could use a few depending on price. Several of the Hostess cars are in my closer somewhere
