The AHM model isn't tall enough for the "Big John", but is the closest thing in N scale, so that's what my Walthers decals ended up on. On the other hand, for many years it was the ONLY modern non-CenterFlow covered hopper in N scale, and by carefully choosing unused number series, actually looked pretty good for my BN and its predecessors. I still have a few in service, including Big John.
ConCor tended to put too much paint on their versions, but if one could find undecs, they were nice castings for the time. With a little work, especially new roofwalks, they're not bad today. I even modified some of mine with new roofs and trough hatches, to work better in grain service.
