Have a friend who's hobby is turning old Volvos into sleepers.  I'll have to get one for him.

Ah Volvo, the slowest thing on the road... and so distinctive.

I love the look on the unsuspecting Mustang driver's face when I dust them in My S60R  :D

I recently had a double-take:  I saw a Volvo which had a bar-of-soap look just like all the other generic-looking cars on the roads.  It was a Volvo!  So much for a different look.  That is now gone too.

It is 1:43 scale but maybe Rasputin could shrink mold it down to 1:160. . .   :)

Those do look nice and I see it says they're 1:160, which I appreciate since the lines between 1:160 and 1:150 seem to be blurring more and more all the time.

It says they used Micro Krystal Klear for the windows on the samples. I wish I knew how to achieve results like that as I always seem to get that shrunk-in-the-middle, concave look. Whereas, they got a nice, even convex shape. I've even tried letting the model dry upside down without much success.

Thanks for pointing these out.

I love the Volvo 240's. I've owned several 245's over the years and I'd sure like another. Perhaps another tangerine orange 245DL like my first with. Boy, do I ever miss that car.

Thanks

Chris

Thats the one.  I grew up riding in and driving the 2 door version, which Brekina has done at various points in HO

Ah, the one you want is available in H0 - that makes things even easier. 1-step shrinking process.  PM Rasputin and see if he would be interested in adding it to his selection of models.  It fits the period he is covering.
