I've known this was coming (for nearly 2 years actually... that's how long it's been from
the time they accepted it to the time it finally got into print).
I started noticing, perhaps 3 years ago,
that MR was putting more and more semi-craftsman pieces into their magazine. They are still not RMC
in that regard, but I think they are moving in the right direction.
I thought they would probably never publish a piece like this, but I wanted to try anyway. You never
achieve anything unless you try.
Of course I am proud as punch of it. But more importantly, this means that MR will indeed
print articles like this. And they will do it in N Scale. Most of all, I am happy that the large
non-N-Scale world out there will see what is possible in N.
