Ed that is awesome, looks like some one spent all week waxing it! What silver did you use?
In keeping with the opening photo, I present the 3 newest residents of My Milwaukee road, which will soon be bringing up the rear of some much less glamorous trains than the lead off picture.
A Chuck pack arrived today with some of Matt's Milwaukee Road transfer cabeese. Matt, it took a while, but these are worth the wait!

Worked today on installing an access tunnel for the lower rear section. I modified a WS single port concrete. Still have quite a bit to do but at least I have a better feel for the overall picture.

Well i have spent the last week traveling to see family for Christmas and laying track. I have gotten main line 1 installed. Here is a video of the first test train.

I finished up a Christmas gift for my brother and then knocked out a Southern Pacific Olympic SD40R for a friend in Australia.  The SD40-3 cab is from Shapeways - thanks again to Reese for making these available...  :D

I got 4 decoders installed this weekend, and went thru my locomotive drawers to find out how many more decoders I need.  I'm about halfway thru my fleet, I still need about 20 more  :(

This week I did my first layout work in quite some time.  I'm building a new small layout and I made some good progress this week/weekend.   Here is the latest, and you kind find out more in the layout design forum under BNSF Decatur Hill.

I've been using Microscale Krystal Kleer and have been happy with the results.

MP54s are coming along

Shell fitted to power mech

Pantographs installed

Cut off the molded on grab iron and installed gold medal model ones.

Now back to PA for my dad to paint them up!
