Of course they will...it's what they do. But if they didn't have good products, they wouldn't be able to get away with it. 8444 will be next then something in the Greyhound paint scheme then probably some other numbers. Look at the Daylight locomotives...several different variations: pre war with 'lines', post war without, war babies (all black), and they all sold out fast (wish I would have bought more). Don't hate the playah, hate the game.

A different tender top and the fleet of FEF-3's could be made , as well as greyhounds . This is a gold mine for them .

Yea, 8444 can be done in black and in two tone grey.

Other road numbers could be offered for steam era modelers.

Love the negative phrasing....

If Kato wasn't putting out as many good and need derivative products, I am sure someone would find a way to turn that to a negative as well.

I know, its an attempt at humor and I should just let it go. :D

If Kato wasn't putting out as many good and need derivative products, I am sure someone would find a way to turn that to a negative as well.

For example, I can list a dozen ways Kato could hammer my wallet...but they refuse.   Of course, their stranglehold on the SD40-2 is about to come to an end, rumor of a more appropriate F40PH coming that they may have missed the boat on, more BNSF Dash 9's, containers, BNSF Business trains, Cabbage cars, coalporter schemes, MRL SD40, ATSF SD75, basic UP SD70, spartan cab SD70....the list goes on and on.

So having said that....do we really KNOW that Kato is going to take advantage of the gem they have in the 4-8-4???

Really trying to ignore all this steam stuff but it's hard. Really don't want to start down that path.

As soon as they release the late version of the Hiawatha and a Little Joe and NP NCL, my wallet will get hammered.  They could do an E6 and E7 and they might get some juice from me too.  Baldwins and FMs would get my attention as well.
