Work continues on Glyndon/Emory Grove.  I'm using a Walthers Pella Depot as a stand in for the Glyndon station.  I took off the brick loading platform and cut styrene to go around the building, scribing joints into the surface with xacto knife.  Railings from Plastruct and the stairs came from left over parts from Walthers paper mill buildings and scrap styrene.

Someone had posted photos on a Facebook group about a 3D printed Cat 777F rock truck.  I asked about making them available for sale.  He contacted me and I picked up 3 of them for the Vulcan Quarry.  He's currently working on a D11T dozer, but hoping he does a front end loader to match.

I'd love to have one of those trucks for the commute to work...

I'm diggin' the photo angles in Glyndon.  Don't forget the old signal racks on the highway bridge... and the signals.  And the black F units.  Lots of black F units.

That would be that Chessie sh!t he lets onto the layout periodically.  Did I mention black F units?

Is that the Walthers Pella depot?  It's a pretty good stand in.

Lee.

PS:  You should probably get some black F units.

Yes, it's the Pella Depot.  I cut away the brick platform on the one side, cut styrene for the sidewalks around the building and added railing.  I also added a door on the other side in the left corner.  Need to add the overhang on that side as well.

As for the bridge, I'm trying to figure out how to do the sides.  Thinking of cutting pieces of wood to correct height/thickness and then covering with the printable rock that I used for the piers.  And yes, the signal mounts will be included when I get there  :D

Well done Adam.  You make progress on your layout as fast as someone we know atop Blue Ridge Summit!

I will be in upstate New York this weekend and cannot visit the Open House.  Good luck and have fun!

Haha, just watched that last night. It's looking good!

The one thing I was wondering... there are some kinda red looking trees in there. Is that intentional?
