      My Hobby Reading breaks down into different catagories. Models, N Scale, N Scale Railroading, Model Railroader, RMC. Prototype, Trains, Classic Trains, Passenger Train Journal, Historical, UP Streamliner, GN Goat, Rio Grande  Prospector, RI Remember the Rock, WP The Headlight (I believe) ,Large Scale "Aw Nutz" no longer published lastly a small speciality rag "Woo-Woo Ka Choo!" Nte Goodman (Nato).

My question for the gallery is, what model railroad magazines do you subscribe to (or buy most issues of.) And if your answer is "None", let us know that too.

Narrow Gauge & Shortline Gazette. Lot's of decent modeling there.
Trains, for the prototype stuff.
Model Railroad Planning.

RMC and MR once in a great while. Same with the N scale rags.

First of all, thanks to everyone who has responded. There have been some interesting patterns in the responses.

If you have not answered yet, please do. The question is, what model railroad magazines do you subscribe to or buy most issues of? And if the answer is none, let us know that too.

Some have asked if this is about advertising, it's not. The magazines publish their circulation figures so there is no mystery there. I don't want to color your responses so we'll leave it at that for now.

I will add a few more HS subscriptions in the future as income allows.

I "subscribe" to MRH, but I don't read every issue.  I download them at the beginning of the month and generally don't read them until much later.
My uncle purchases Trains, MR, and MRNews at the LHS every month and I read them after he's done with them.

That probably screwed up your categorization well and good.

N Scale, from a hobby shop, if there's a specific article that appeals to me.

I may pick-up Model Railroader maybe once every two years at a newsstand, then later kick myself for spending that much money on something I'm done with in 10 minutes.

Just did the same thing wife was in Kohls I went into Barnes Noble. Bought MR finished it before she came out was pissed I spent the money as I could have just sat in the store and read it
