I've been an MR subscriber since 1973. Just this month I let my subscription to expire. It's been getting smaller and smaller, the content is the same-old same-old. I usually picked up the annuals: MRP & Great Model Railroads.

Model Railroader since 1982, but none of their extra issues MRP, GMR etc.

MRH probably since it started, I also download and keep the PDF's.

Shipping to Germany is a significant increase in price, so I do not subscribe to other magazines from the U.S..

IMHO, participation in forums gives better information than the printed media for specific questions.
I cannot imagine to subscribe to an online video channel, I stick to things that I can read quickly when I need them.

None on a regular basis - since at least the early 2000's...

Exception:  historical society publications.

If there is a big N-scale layout featured in MR, I will pick it up, but that's it.

I will pick up occasional issues of RMC, N Scale Railroading, and some of the rail fan mags if there's a story I like.

"what model railroad magazines do you subscribe to"

None. I pick up various issues now and then. I get all my news off the web.

I occasionally scan MR at grocery store also craftsmen, but have not baught a magazine in ages I get all my info online because its the best place in opinion the MR articles are too fundamental the online information blows it out of the water! I occasionaly get N scale railroading but for the most part I keep up to date via mfgs websites and facebook pages and of course through forums! 8) I used to buy MR and craftsmen before the internet though.

No more subscriptions to any of the modeling magazines.

I like the various Historical Society modeling quarterlies.  I would probably subscribe to a couple of those if it evolves into that.

Model Railroad Hobbyist.
I get all 12 issues of MR but not through subscription but used at $.50 a pop which means I'm usually a year or two behind.  Then take a razor blade to items I want to save and put them in various titled 3 ring binders to create my own books.

I actually like MRH the most as in general they have fairly detailed articles and I think their DCC corner is one of the best, but I don't like downloading things from it to print out, a pain.

I do the same thing!

Two scientists create a teleportation ray, and they try it out on a cricket. They put the cricket on one of the two teleportation pads in the room, and they turn the ray on.
The cricket jumps across the room onto the other pad.

I don't subscribe to any model railroad mags, even MRH which is free.
I prefer it here where the content is more dynamic and occasionally littered with asshats.
