Whoa, there's lots of interesting stuff there too:
PRR & WM Circus Fs.
Real photos of the SD40-2s (or are those HO?).

The Wheels of Time Piggy-Packer is an excellent model, Intermountain will have their job cut out for them:

The wheels of time one looks much more complex and detailed and is nearly half the price as well.

HO, says at the bottom.

Nothing for me (hooray!)... unless I want to grab one of the GTW's (I do).
Welcome to Ontario... we've got a tax for that.

Is it just me or do those stackers not even compete for the same market. It seems the Piggy-Packer is from the beginning of the container age while the Reachstacker is the modern version with the capability of stacking containers 4, 5 high when used in the storage facility?

I am pretty sure that DI's model is either based or inspired by the Terex or Mi-Jack Reach Stacker. Both models are licensed from TCM, which produces them for the Japanese domestic market. The problem is that TCM stacker has been produced by Maruka while the forklift style TCM stacker was produced by Fujimoto, Tomytec, and Kato. The market is pretty flooded at this point. The Kato model is very nice and costs only $20 for a slightly different model.

DI has had the prototyped master for this project at various shows for a few years now. I'm glad to see them release new tooling, I just wish it was something along the lines of a Letourneau TOFC/COFC loader, which was a very popular and distinctive prototype.
You've crossed the walls, excelled
Further along through their hell
All for my heart, I watch you kill
You always have, you always will
Now spread your wings and sail out to me

Did you see that sound is an option for the N F7's.  I wonder who's.

IIRC, when OHCR 1000/1001 were in Gettysburg as 81c and ???, they were used occasionally in freight service.  Though soon after they were painted for the Gettysburg Railway, they were sold/disposed of to the Ohio Central.

They are using LokSound for the SD40-2 models coming out, so maybe the same can be said here  :?

I'm too lazy to get you a pic but I took a couple for myself as a "layout design element" of an area in the Vancouver wharves where it is still used today.  I'll use the very technical term - "the holdy thing" - can be changed out for one that carries containers, but the container "holdy thingy" is an extra cost.

Okay I got unlazy and here is the pic, but you can only see the top half raised up with a container:

PS: I have one, the Piggy Packer is well worth the money and very well detailed.  It sucks the light on top doesn't work, and it won't be easy to get it to work, more a "where do you put the wire" kind of problem to keep it hidden.

Not to mention that its from a better era...

Not to mention that its from a better era...

Personal era choices aside, like Roland said, it is from a later era and is a container only lift device - it has no swing arms to lift from the underside of the trailer frame.

For mixed use intermodal yards, it would compliment the WoT Piggy-Packer well seeing as the Piggy-Packer survived into the modern era.

 :?

That pretty much sums up my take on this announcement.   Deluxe is starting to make even Micro-Trains announcements look in-touch with reality.

(Lord, I apologize...)
