I'm surprised someone else here recognized them.

Has anyone ever watched anything Galaxy Express 999/Railways related?

Here's a Clerihew about Ed. K.

Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
But mention his law
and you've pulled your last straw!

Alternate version:
Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
He asks excitedly "Did you say Ménage à Trois?"
No, I said "Ed's Law."

I have not watched Galaxy Express, but I have watched all of Rail Wars. Which, by the way, is a good series.

Both Girls und Panzer and Rail Wars did well in their portrayals of their respective types of vehicles. The accuracy is very welcome to this railway modeler who also has an appreciation for WWII tanks, with an eye towards German tanks.

Other than my recently acquired Anglerfish Team keychains...

...I also have these two on my bookcase.

I need to get something else Katyusha related, because my Jaguar is named Katyusha.

It is quite big. It's HO standard gauge.
No, I'm not doing any modeling in HO. Someone gave it to me, so it has been just floating around on my workbench.

I've always been a Cowboy Bebop, and Ghost in the Shell kinda guy myself. Although I was hooked on inuyasha for a short time, and more recently Attack on Titan has pulled me in....

@ChristianJDavis1 is the guy you should talk to about Attack on Titan.
He's lucky that he managed to get me to watch Mirai Nikki, yet he has yet to watch Rail Wars or Girls und Panzer.

Oh boy! Both Anime and I were mentioned in the same thread! Attack on Titan is a great anime, as is Mirai Nikki. I will watch Rail Wars and Girls Und Panzer when my college work lets up a little. Most of my free time at night is spend catching up on Gintama.

I have watched the Galaxy Express 999 movie, as well as the First and Second seasons of Galaxy Railways. Flying UP Big Boys that do Barrel-Rolls and PRR S1's with giant cannons certainly make for an interesting show. Both series are probably why I now dabble in JNR in Z, N, and HOj scales!

You can call me a bad SPF for not recognizing an S1 in there. I think I last watched these before I started digging in to the PRR.

I wasn't an SPF back then. Just an "SF," I suppose.
