Don't get me started about the hoarders. Collector is just a euphemism for hoarder in this hobby.  They only "collect" long enough to jack the price up.  These people are bad enough but the ones that really pee me off are the ones that pay those ridiculous prices.    If they wouldn't pay those prices, the hoarders would be SOL and rightfully so, in my opinion.

I am good for three or more of the 4-axle version GMD-1s when they come out. Hard to justify 6-axle units in southern Ontario.
Two 1900s in grn/ylw and one or more in Blk/grey noodle. My 1967 and 1978 timeframes in southern Ontario could use them in commuter service and at Spadina shops.

I have a bunch of Rapido N passenger cars and cabooses.
Undec passenger cars and gons to paint.
And an order of gons and flats coming from Credit Valley tomorrow.
Can't wait to see them!   

Gotta support fellow Canadian's efforts in N scale!

Just preordered some HO scale stainless coaches based on guilt inspired by this thread.  Most of my stuff is N, but there are just a few HO scale things I can't pass up.  I was really lucky to get my hands on an Action Red CP Rail Canadian set even though I missed the preorder (because Jason is great!) and I am just amazed... you'd have to see it to believe it was mass produced in a factory anyplace, even in relatively small quantities.  I'm a Rapido fan for sure, and I am very happy to see more N scale in the pipeline.

I haven't preordered anything from Rapido, not because I don't, but because they have yet to make anything I want/need.

As for locos, they will probably be awesome locos, but being its the first loco they make, I'd wait until I saw reviews from others before I dropped my money.

I'd like to see some of the BN executive cars in N scale, I know the cars are foobies, but close enough works.

I've been laying low for a verrrrry long time but... Jason... you have my attention!
Will you be offering the 7 unit NAR Fleet? Because I might just be crazy enough to jump on that!!!

On a side note... the artwork on NAR version shows spark arrestors instead of straight stacks and the bell on the long hood rather than the short hood... will this be corrected before production? Also, what about chevrons on the pilots... what are your plans there?

But it is curious to me that you did so many variations of the Youngstown car.... except (what might be) the most popular roadnames:

Conrail
CSX.

My Rapido order arrived from Credit Valley Hobbies this evening.

All I can say is the Prairie Shadows/Rapido gondolas are truly exceptional.
Possibly the nicest gondolas that I have seen in N-scale. And with correct road height.
In my order, I bought two undecs to make into 2600- and 4000-series TH&B gondolas based on decals I made about 10+ years ago.
Anyone want to buy a bunch of MT gondolas! The bulkhead flats are excellent as well.

I may have to buy a GMD-1 and swap out the chassis just to support their N-scale efforts!

The 10-5 sleeper.  The two Erie cars (Pride of Youngstown, and Spirit of Youngstown) went to EL originally.  Then one of the cars was drafted (I don't remember which one) for OCS service with CR and then CSX.

The ex-CN units will have CN-style spark arrestors and the other two will have NAR straight stacks.

As for the bell and horn, they will be in the right place but the horn will be CN style mounted to the front of the cab rather than sticking up past the roofline.  That would require filing the roofline and while I trust people to do that easily at home I don't trust them to do it well in China.

Bill has worked with some hardcore NAR guys in Alberta to get the chevrons right.  I'll have to ask him to send me the latest artworks for the HO model.  The N will match it.  The guys are also sending us paint chips to match.
